Faster and Easier Fluid Resuscitation with LifeFlow Next Gen

DURHAM, N.C., May 10, 2019 — 410 Medical, Inc., a medical device company focused on helping providers quickly address hypotension and shock in critically ill patients, today announced the launch of their latest innovation in rapid fluid resuscitation: LifeFlow® Next Gen.

Patients presenting with hypotension or shock require immediate medical attention. LifeFlow was designed to make fluid resuscitation fast and simple, enabling providers in an emergent situation to respond more quickly, more efficiently and with less stress.  With its two new innovative features, Force ReducerTM and AirCheckTM, LifeFlow Next Gen further enhances the speed and simplicity of fluid delivery.

The Force Reducer enhances fluid delivery by smoothing the pulsatile flow during delivery, reducing the effort required by the user and increasing the flow rate. The average time to deliver 500mL thru a 20G is now less than 2 minutes with 30% less required force.

The AirCheck facilitates the priming and setup process and will stop the fluid flow if air is detected in the system.

“At 410 our mission is to help paramedics, nurses and physicians provide the best possible care to their critically ill patients,” said Kyle Chenet, Chief Executive Officer of 410 Medical.  “The addition of these important new features further enhances LifeFlow as the most effective tool for delivering a rapid fluid bolus.”
