Application Procedures and Deadlines
Those interested in the LifeFlow research voucher program are required to apply online. The brief, online proposals are reviewed by the 410 Medical Research Advisory Committee (RAC). Approved applicants are notified, and vouchers will be awarded pending final review of institutional study documentation (study protocol and IRB approval).
This is a year-round, rolling application process; there are no deadlines. Only complete online applications are accepted.
Eligible Applicants
410 Medical awards research vouchers to organizations of all types (academic, community, non-profit/for profit-based health systems, EMS/Fire Rescue agencies, etc.) within North America.
Terms and Limitations on Awards
The LifeFlow Research voucher program will provide up to 40 LifeFlow PLUS devices to selected projects. Applicants will be required to provide a rationale for the number of devices requested.
General Recommendations
- Projects supported by 410 Medical typically address 1-2 well developed specific aims.
- Studies should not be designed to exclude women, minorities, or individuals based on age unless there is a scientific or ethical reason not to include them.
