Durham, NC – June 16, 2021 – Handtevy – Pediatric Emergency Standards, Inc., ReelDx, and 410 Medical, Inc. jointly announce their collaboration on the Reel Emergency vodcast – a new platform for sharing and discussion of emergent patient cases, including the use of provider-captured video. Reel Emergency features Drs. Peter Antevy, Mark Piehl and David Spiro, all thought leaders in pediatrics, emergency medicine, intensive care, and EMS. Reel Emergency was founded as a unique platform for emergency care providers to learn and discuss best practices in resuscitation. The first three episodes covered a teenager with Multi-system Inflammatory disease (MIS-C) presenting to the emergency department with shock, a toddler with altered mental status and seizures treated by EMS, and an adult with a gunshot wound treated for hemorrhagic shock in the field.
